Google Keep is introducing a new “Help me create a list” AI feature on Android which it has been testing over the past few months.

Google unveiled the feature alongside the launch of the Pixel 9 series at the Made by Google event which is powered by Gemini AI and previously was available as a part of Workspace Labs.

The feature is similar to the “Help me write” tool, enabling users to get a major head start on creating notes and works with a simple prompt to create a list of items or tasks such as creating a grocery list.

If a user gives a prompt like “write a grocery list of ingredients for a healthy lunch” it generates some options in various categories such as protein, vegetables, whole grains, and more.

When the list has been generated, users can either have it created again or insert it into a blank note and edit each item from there.

Currently, the “Help me create a list” feature is rolling out to all Android users including those who don’t have the Google One subscription.

However, the latest version, v2.24.332.02.90, of Google Keep, also includes a settings toggle that allows users to turn off this AI feature entirely.

It appears that Google Keep is not the only app that Gemini developers have targeted for its AI tool portfolio, as these AI features are also being integrated into other Google apps including Google Photos and Chrome for users' assistance.
