Google introduced the Gemini 1.5 Pro model, an unmatched tool to handle math, coding and complex queries. The model has been upgraded to the next-gen version Gemini 1.5 Pro-002 that can handle deeper discussions and more complex math equations than the previous model.
According to Google, the 1.5 Pro-002 model shows a 7% increase in performance on the MMLU-Pro benchmark test, challenging an AI's reasoning abilities.
On the Math and HiddenMath benchmark tests the new model showed a 20% increase and major improvement in coding skills.
In the Python Visual Comprehension and Code Generation tests, the model showed an increase of between 2 and 7%. This increase in performance will result in providing more accurate answers to queries.
Notably, the Gemini was upgraded to 1.5 Flash in July and got significant latency improvements in August. However, Google also added custom chatbots called Gems back in August.
