The news regarding the crash of Google Maps came to light when a few users took to X (formerly Twitter) and reported that the app keeps crashing whenever users fire up the app. However, this issue has not affected a wider audience except the Android 14 and Android 15 users.
It seems that for whatever reason the app is breaking, it’s a relatively latest addition, so the easiest way to solve it is only to roll the app back to the old state by simply uninstalling a few recent updates.
- Follow these ways to uninstall these updates:
- Firstly, launch the Android Settings > Apps
- Now choose Maps and click on the overflow menu in the top-right section of your handset to find Uninstall updates.
Now, it will start working again like you have bought a new phone. However, users are anticipating Alphabet-owned Google to resolve the intrinsic issue soon.
