Personal video calls on Google Meet are now finally getting a big redesign for Android and iOS users. This will bring the experience a little closer to the meeting feature, which gets frequent updates and advanced features.
What's new?
Revamping Google Meet would start with a refreshed pre-call screen, making it much easier to initiate video calls. Once a user is in a conversation, they would see new call control buttons down at the bottom of their device screen.
Besides, real-time text chat would be available for sharing links and communicating when voice was an option.
The Google Meet update would bring in various new features to improve video calling, like easily switching to audio-only when users are on the move, access to live captions in more than 70 languages, and screen sharing with others on Android and iOS devices.

Further, it would allow users to react through emojis, and add stacked filters, effects, and accessories to their video calls to make it more interactive and enjoyable.
