Google offers free LTE data with Pixel Watch 3

Google at the much-awaited Made by Google event on Tuesday announced not only its Pixel 9 lineup but also a few other devices, including the Pixel Watch 3 with a special offer of free data for two years. 

The smartwatch will be available from September 10 with a starting price of $349.99. However, the pre-orders have already opened at the Google Store, Amazon, and Best Buy.

Google Pixel Watch 3 LTE

Google’s new Pixel Watch 3 will be available in two sizes including 41mm and 45mm with both models getting two years of free LTE data with purchase. 

The company has provided the LTE service through Google Fi Wireless. However, it won’t be supporting voice calls but would enable to sync of Google Messages from users’ other devices even if they are not Google Fi subscribers. 

Previously, Google had offered a similar deal to its older models for a specific period, but this is the first time the offer was available at the launch. 

Pixel Watch 3 buyers can get two free years of LTE data for their smartwatch through the Google Store. The offer is valid in the US only and to the person who first sets up the device, however, it won’t be available if the device is sold to another person. 

It’s important to note that, the LTE offer would have a set data amount of 1GB per month with only 500 MBs available at full speed meanwhile the rest will be limited to 256kbps. Pixel Watch 3 LTE models are available at a starting price of $449.
