Google Photos on Monday, received an "Updates” feed in place of “Sharing" set to improve user experience and enhance the way of using the app.
After the new update on Google Photos, you will get a notification bell icon in the app bar to “See recent sharing updates, including conversations and shared links.” This launches an “Updates” feed. The overflow menu allows you to access it.

Earlier, Google Photos had a sharing page that you used from a "people" icon in between the "plus" menu and your profile avatar. It began with high-level shortcuts for “Create shared album” and “Share with partner.”
However, it is important to note that different users are seeing "Updates" feed rolled out to Google Photos for Android, but not iOS.
