Excitement is building as rumours swirl about the upcoming release of Google's next flagship smartphone, the Pixel 9 Pro. From potential design changes to new features and rumoured release dates, here’s everything Gadinsider knows so far about the most-awaited Pixel 9.

Pixel 9 Pro will support a new camera layout. Instead of the old 'visor' design, the phone now has a more modern oval-shaped camera island. This change shows that Google is serious about keeping up with the latest tech trends and making their phones look great.

The leaked photos, first shared by Rozetked show the Pixel 9 Pro's redesigned rear camera area, which now includes a periscope camera. And also, compared to last year’s models, the Pixel 9 Pro will sport a larger screen. This new feature should make the phone's photography abilities even better, letting users take amazing photos from different angles.

Pixel 9 Pro's supports "fastboot" mode, which lets users quickly change things on their phone, with 16GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage.

According to Gadgets360, the Pixel Pro Fold and the Pixel 9 series may come with support for a Samsung modem that allows satellite communications in an emergency.

The name of the Pixel 9 series seems to have been confirmed by a recent beta version of the Google app for beta testers, which also hinted that these models would have a unique animation. Before these phones' anticipated release later this year, more information is anticipated. Google wants to make sure their phones can keep people connected, no matter what.
