Gadinsider has brought you a guideline that will help you to use the "Add me" feature effectively.
How Add Me feature works on Pixel 9
- Take a group photo: Suppose you’re assigned as a photographer to take a group photo. Firstly, gather your group and capture a picture. After taking the first picture, swap your place with any one person who was in the picture. Now, this person will act as a photographer for the second shot.
- Follow positioning guidelines: The new photographer will use the viewfinder to guide you where to stand in the frame. The Pixel 9 provides directions to ensure standing in the same position as the first picture. When the position is set, ask the second photographer to take another picture. This picture will include you in the group.
- Activate "Add Me" feature: By using the “Add me” feature on your Pixel 9, combine the two pictures. AI and augmented reality (AR) technology will smoothly merge the two images, placing you perfectly within the group shot. Review the image to ensure everyone fits perfectly in the merged photo and save it in your phone gallery.
