Google is likely to launch two different size variants of the upcoming Google Pixel Watch 3 marking an end to its previous single-size offerings.
It should be noted that unlike Apple and Samsung, which provide two sizes for their smartwatches, Google has traditionally released its watches in a single 41mm diameter variant.
The Pixel Watch 3, however, is rumoured to introduce a larger case size option to address user complaints and enhance its competitiveness in the market.
Gadgets360, citing 9to5Google reported that two size variants of the Google Pixel Watch 3 are currently in development. While both models are expected to share similar specifications, the larger variant may feature a bigger display and a larger battery.

Users have previously expressed dissatisfaction with the limited size options for the Google Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2. If this report holds, Google seems to be addressing this concern with the upcoming Pixel Watch 3.
Details about the specific sizes are currently unavailable. It is anticipated that Google will retain the 41mm Pixel Watch variant, which is already familiar to users, and introduce a larger variant.
In contrast, competitors like the Apple Watch Series 9 offer two size options of 41mm and 45mm, while the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 comes in 40mm and 44mm variants.
The report does not explain whether a larger Pixel Watch 3 would entail a larger display or increased bezel size.
The introduction of a new sensor technology, allowing users to control the smartwatch through gestures like taps, long presses, pinches, and swipes, was also previously suggested. However, the fate of the physical crown on the device remains unknown.
