Google, the tech giant, has already been part of the debate in the tech market due to its upcoming ‘Made by Google’ event. However, several new rumours are surfacing around regarding the tech giant’s new weather app which is to be named as Pixel Weather.
Interestingly, this weather app would be offering real-time weather updates, forecasts, and more new features. The app is expected to launch in the Google’s upcoming Pixel 9 series and would be available on Play Store.
Pixel Weather features and design
Pixel Weather is expected to feature a simple and intuitive design with a textured sun and cloud icon on a blue background. Reportedly, the app would offer precipitation notifications, weather forecasts, and the ability to rearrange cards to customise the layout.

However, the users can also change the temperature units and theme settings. The app will also be featuring a "Weather map" with radar, which is one of the top feature requests since the Google Weather redesign last year.
Additionally, there will be (artificial intelligence)"AI Weather Summaries" that is expected to provide users with a quick overview of the weather.
Pixel Weather notifications
Pixel Weather would offer two types of notifications including precipitation notifications and weather forecast notifications. Users would also receive a notification when precipitation such as rain or snow is expected soon, and a daily forecast notification every evening for their current location.
