
Google has been constantly improving its Android operating system. However, It has been two weeks since the tech giant has rolled out Android 15 Beta 3 version for the operating systems of Android devices.
Interestingly, Google has announced that the Android 15 Beta 3.1 is rolling out to all supported devices, including the Pixel 6, 6 Pro, 6a, 7, 7 Pro, 7a, Pixel Tablet, Pixel Fold, Pixel 8, 8 Pro, and 8a. This update address some pesky issues that were driving the users crazy and fixes several issues for the users, including
- A frustrating lock screen problem that would prompt users to unlock their device even when interacting with elements that didn't require unlocking.
- Biometric face authentication failures.
- Various other issues affecting system stability, connectivity, and audio quality.
Android 15 Beta 3.1 — Here's how to upgrade
If you have already been enrolled in the Android Beta Program, you'll automatically receive an over-the-air (OTA) update to Android 15 Beta 3.1. Alternatively, you can also download factory images or OTAs from Google's website.

Although this might appear to be a minor update, it really does fix some of the major underlying issues that have been impacting daily life for the users. Google takes Android closer to seamlessness and better user-friendliness by revamping some of the most-criticised things—its lock screen—and improving biometric authentication.
