As this very modernised era is witnessing a boom in the realm of app and software development, the provision of tools required by developers to get app development done is immensely imperative.
And since nowadays we have a wide range of different types of apps due to the similar-sized range of devices, all running on distinguished operating systems, a sub-domain of app development is Android development, where developers solely design apps that are compatible and supported on Android devices.
Since Android Studio has so far been the most common platform which developers turn to to develop Android applications, Google is now planning to expand to the web.

Android Studio on web
The expansion will be attained by Google's own web-based development environment called Project IDX.
At its I/O Connect Bengaluru today, Google disclosed the manner in which it aims to make “building your Android apps as universally available as the Android devices that you target with them.”
This feat will require Android Studio to be streamed from the cloud to the developer's browser.
While the provision of Android and iOS simulators is already on its portfolio, Project IDX also makes the most of a Linux VM as well as simplifies coding with the help of Google's in-house AI assistant Gemini.
Accessible from both idx.google.com and the official Android Studio website, the process only has a very nominal wizard set-up before a developer starts developing applications.
While the integration of Android Studio and Project IDX integration is currently in the infancy stage, developers can sign up right now to get the service.
