Google's Pixel Thermometer app was launched last year in the US. However, the app is now finally coming to Europe, giving Pixel Pro owners a way to measure their body temperature with ease.

The Pixel Thermometer was first announced for the Pixel 8 Pro back in January this year; it supports infrared sensor hardware that ensures the correct reading of the temperature of a subject from a distance.

It can measure body temperature, a feature that became quite important during the pandemic period. Although there were some complaints at the very beginning about accuracy, Google managed to improve it for the best.

Which devices can use Pixel Thermometer?

The Pixel Thermometer is integrated into most of the recent Pixel devices including, Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL. However, only these devices required infrared sensor hardware to support this feature.

Google has updated its Thermometer support docs to include several European countries, which means the feature should go live across the continent very soon.
