Hajj 2025: Govt launches ‘Pak Hajj’ app to help pilgrims

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has introduced the Pak Hajj app to make the Hajj 2025 journey easier for pilgrims. This mobile app, designed for Android and iPhone users, provides step-by-step guidance for every stage of the pilgrimage.

The Pak Hajj app is going to make the pilgrims' experience simpler and keep them updated on everything. The app would be designed with training schedules, flight details, and mapping to keep all purposes smooth regarding Hajj.

Pak Hajj app features 

The Pak Hajj app includes details about Hajj training schedules, with information on times, dates, and locations. The app also provides the facility of showing flight schedules, departure and return times, along with cities.

Pilgrims can locate important routes and places in Makkah, Madinah, and Mina using maps within the app.

Saudi Arabia has reserved a quota of 179,210 pilgrims for Pakistan during Hajj 2025. Applications for Hajj are open now, and 15 designated banks are receiving them. 

As many as 15,844 people have so far applied for it, with Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi topping the list.

For the first time, the government is allowing pilgrims to pay Hajj fees in installments. Applicants will have to deposit Rs200,000 at the time of submitting applications. 

Another Rs400,000 is payable within ten days of balloting, while the remaining amount has to be deposited by February 10, 2025.
