Huawei is set to release HarmonyOS NEXT operating system for smartphones and its cloud storage won’t be an issue for users updating from the existing HarmonyOS version.
According to a tipster FixedFocus, the company’s native operating system will include extended cloud storage for those upgrading from HarmonyOS 4.2.
The tipster confirmed that the storage will help people store data from one device as a backup and restore if the device loses the data after the upgrade process is completed.
Moreover, this storage could be temporary but there’s no fixed information on whether it will be free or come under a special offer.
