As the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) demonstrated the potential of the national firewall by blocking VPNs recently, an IT expert claimed that the government is planning to block unregistered VPNs, necessitating VPN-reliant businesses to register their VPNs over its new registration portal.

Part of PTA's VPN whitelisting process, the registered VPNs will ensure businesses embrace high-speed and stable internet connection.

If you too happen to be one of the businesspersons affected by the VPN throttling, you better head to the new registration portal PTA has introduced to register VPNs.
