Here's how you can activate Snapchat's solar system

If you are a Snapchat+ user and are aware of its features, you are probably familiar with Snapchat's buddy solar system, which displays the closest buddy based on the planets closest to the Sun.

However, the function appears to be useful but it is turned off by default and must be enabled to be used.

Previously noted that the functionality is now limited to Snapchat+ subscribers. The software displays the order of your best friends, with Mercury as the closest buddy and Neptune as the least close friend, precisely as in the solar system.

Here’s how to enable solar system in Snapchat (both iOS and Android)

Snapchat has the function disabled by default; however, if you and your friends appreciate it, you can quickly activate it. Follow the instructions below to enable it, regardless of whether you are using an Android or iOS smartphone.

1. Run the Snapchat application on your Android or iOS device.
2. To open your profile, tap the profile icon in the upper left corner.
3. Click Snapchat+ and browse through the available features until you reach the Solar System option.
4. Turn on the toggle, then press Okay to complete the operation.

How to check your planet on the friend solar system

After enabling Snapchat's friend solar system function, you may be wondering about your planet. To check it, follow the steps.

1. First, start the Snapchat app.
2. Open the conversation tab, then choose your friend's conversation.
3. To read their profile, simply tap on their name at the top.
4. To view the planet, click on either the Best Friends or Friends badge.

How to disable the Snapchat friend solar system

However, if the users don't like the feature or don't want to utilise it, users may easily disable it. To disable the Solar System function in their Snapchat account, follow the instructions outlined below.

1. Run the Snapchat app and tap the profile icon in the upper-left corner.
2. Select Snapchat+ beneath your profile.
3. Now, navigate to the Solar System that you activated. Simply turn off the toggle this time.
4. Tap Okay in the confirmation pop-up.
