A popular mobile phone company HMD (Human Mobile Devices) has integrated the Qi2 wireless charging system in Android phones, following the release of its latest smartphone Skyline.

Previously, the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) had launched a second-generation wireless charging standard in 2023.

But unfortunately, it failed to captivate a few tech giants including Google, and Samsung, despite the evolution of wireless charging features in an extensive range of smartphones.

Currently, several brands are likely to follow the trend since HMD has launched Qi2 wireless charging support.
