Honor GT series confirmed to launch in China on December 16

Honor has confirmed the launch of its new GT series. The Chinese tech giant posted several promotional images showcasing the white variant of the forthcoming handset. 

The Honor GT series is expected to rival the recently launched smartphones in the country, including the Redmi K80, iQOO Neo 10, Realme Neo 7, and OnePlus Ace 5.

Taking to Weibo, the tech giant announced that the new Honor GT products will launch in China on December 16 at 7:30pm local time. 

The Weibo post also hinted at the upcoming Honor GT series’ rear design.

As per images posted, the Honor GT’s white variant will feature a dual-tone design with flat edges. The handset’s rectangular rear camera setup with dual cameras, a dual-tone flash, and a prominent red “GT” logo at the bottom-right corner. 

According to Honor’s CEO, Zhao Ming, the Honor GT series will showcase a unique and penetrating design. 

The handset has a speaker, a USB-C port, a microphone, and a SIM slot at the bottom edge. 

Moreover, earlier leaks suggested that the Honor GT series is expected to sport a 1.5K OLED flat screen. It is anticipated to boast a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and support 100W wired fast charging.
