Honor has officially launched its new Magic-series smartphone — Honor Magic 7 series — in China. The newly launched Magic 7 series has two striking models, Standard and Pro. The smartphone stepped on the platform with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, dynamic artificial intelligence (AI) features, and other striking features.

Honor Magic 7 series launched with an eye-binding, sleek, glossy, and stylish design. The “Moon Shadow Grey” variant brings a marble-like texture on the back, resembling the space-look on the smartphone.

Honor Magic 7 is offered in five colours: Morning Glow Gold, Moon Shadow Grey, Snow White, Sky Blue, and Velvet Black.

Meanwhile, Magic 7 Pro is offered in four colourways: Moon Shadow Grey, Snow White, Sky Blue, and Velvet Black.

Honor Magic 7 series display and dimensions

The Magic 7 measures 162.1 x 75.8 x 7.95mm and weighs 199 grams. It features a 6.78-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution (1264 x 2800 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate.

On the other hand, the Pro variant has a dimension of 162.7 x 77.1 x 8.8mm and has 223 grams weight. It houses a 6.8-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

Both display panels support True 1.07 billion colours, DCI-P3 wide colour gamut, and 5000 nits peak brightness.

The Honor Magic 7 series is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The octa-core SoC has a CPU configuration of 2x Prime cores @4.32Ghz and 6x performance cores @ 3.53GHz. It is paired with an Adreno 830 GPU.

Both variants run on the MagicOS 9.0 Android 15 and have various AI features, such as AI Style turns your image into an animated avatar for the lock screen, AI two-way noise reduction for calls, AI Smart Office for meetings, and AI translate to translate conversion in your preferred dialect.

Honor Magic 7 series camera

The Honor Magic 7 boasts a triple camera setup, having a 50MP main lens, a 50MP ultrawide-angle shooter, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The front side consists of a 50MP camera.

Meanwhile, the Magic 7 Pro has a triple-lens frame with a 50MP primary shooter and a 50MP ultrawide-angle snapper. It supports a dual-hole setup on the front face for a 50MP main lens and a 3D depth camera.

Battery and charging

The Magic 7 standard variant houses a 5,650mAh battery, while the Pro variant sports a 5,850mAh battery supporting 100W wired super fast charging and 80W wireless charging.
