Facilitated by Suno's AI model, Chirp, Copilot assists users in composing short melodies based on provided themes like "making breakfast" and desired musical styles such as rock, pop, or K-pop. However, it currently refrains from imitating specific artists to steer clear of potential copyright issues.
Although this new feature has started its rollout, it's not immediately accessible to all users. Microsoft plans to gradually introduce it in the following weeks, ensuring wider availability soon. Once integrated, users can delve into crafting personalised musical pieces.

The process to generate music with Copilot is straightforward. Users need to install Suno as a plugin before leveraging the AI's music-generating capabilities. Here's a simple guide on how to create your music using Microsoft Copilot:

- Initiate a conversation with Copilot at copilot.microsoft.com.
- Enable the Suno plugin by clicking on the designated logo or accessing the plugin menu in the upper right corner.
- With Suno activated, prompt Copilot for a song using conversational text, like "Write a rap song about brushing your teeth."
- The generated song, typically 20 to 40 seconds long, will be ready shortly. Users can jam to the tune or share it on social media platforms.
Each composition arrives with AI-generated cover art and text-based lyrics, facilitating singing along and sharing your collaborative musical creation. While the songs are relatively short, they offer a simple yet entertaining musical outlet without the need for musical expertise.
