Sometimes, you may come across a video on Twitter that you want to save for later to view or share. However, Twitter does not provide an easy way to download videos from its website or app. Fortunately, there are some methods that you can use to download Twitter videos on your computer or mobile device.
Download Twitter videos on your computer
If you want to download Twitter videos on your computer, you can use a web browser and a third-party website that can extract the video link from the tweet.
Here are the steps to follow:
- Find the tweet that contains the video that you want to download. You can use the search bar or scroll through your feed to find it.
- Click on the date or time below the tweet to open it in a new tab. You will see the URL of the tweet in the address bar of your browser. Copy it by selecting it and pressing Ctrl+C (Windows) or Command+C (Mac).
- Go to a website that can download Twitter videos, such as SaveTweetVid, Twitter Video Downloader, or DownloadTwitterVideo. Paste the URL of the tweet in the text box and click on the Download button.

Here are the steps to follow:
- Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad and search for an app that can download Twitter videos, such as [Documents by Readdle], [MyMedia], or [Video Saver PRO+]. Download and install the app of your choice.
- Open the Twitter app on your iPhone or iPad and find the tweet that contains the video that you want to download. Tap on the share icon at the bottom right corner of the tweet and select the Copy link from the menu that appears.
- Open the app that you installed in earlier and go to its built-in browser. Go to a website that can download Twitter videos, such as SaveTweetVid, Twitter Video Downloader, or DownloadTwitterVideo. Paste the URL of the tweet in the text box and tap on the Download button.
- You will see a list of download links with different video qualities and formats. Choose the one that suits your preference and tap and hold on to it. Select Download file from the menu that appears.

- Open the app that you installed earlier and go to its built-in browser. Go to a website that can download Twitter videos, such as SaveTweetVid, Twitter Video Downloader, or DownloadTwitterVideo. Paste the URL of the tweet in the text box and tap on the Download button.
- You will see a list of download links with different video qualities and formats. Choose the one that suits your preference and tap on it.
