Check out the newest additions to the Pokemon Go world — Pawmi and its evolved forms, Pawmo and Pawmot, belonging to the Pikachu family from the latest Generation IX. This Mouse Pokemon starts off as an Electric-type and later transforms into both Electric- and Fighting-type creatures as it progresses. As of November 2023, Pawmi roams the wild, waiting for eager trainers to catch it. Our encounter with this pocket monster straight out of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet happened while wandering around the wild.
But here's the catch — evolving Pawmi into Pawmo in Pokemon Go is a breeze. It only demands 25 Candy, a trivial investment especially if you’ve got some spare Rare Candy lying around in your inventory. However, things take a turn when evolving Pawmo into Pawmot. This evolution requires not just 100 Candy, which is pretty standard, but also a 25 km walk with Pawmo as your Buddy.
In our case, we managed to crack Pawmo's evolution code by sticking to a routine — clocking in around 12 km daily, split between early morning and late-night walks. That means achieving Pawmo’s evolution in Pokemon Go took us roughly two days. But hey, not every trainer can commit to such strolls, right? Evolving Pawmo demands quite the physical effort, especially for those who don’t have the luxury of time or habitual walking.
- Use your lunch breaks to check nearby Pokemon in the game. If Pawmi is around, catch it to earn Candy and make progress with your Pawmo Buddy.
- Keep your Pawmo Buddy well-fed to ensure it's ready to tag along while completing Field Research Tasks, especially if that’s part of your routine.
- Rather than stressing about covering 25 km in one go, break it down into smaller chunks. Walking a little each day might seem insignificant, but trust us, time flies, and before you know it, you’ll be evolving Pawmi into Pawmo in no time in Pokemon Go.
Sadly, as of November 2023, there's no existence of a Shiny Pawmi in Pokemon Go, which means its evolved versions, Shiny Pawmo and Pawmot, are also MIA. But who knows? These variations might pop up in future events.
