And when it comes to Xbox, gamesharing remained the most outstanding feature the gaming world witnessed during the past decade.

Xbox One is one of the first consoles to introduce this feature, allowing you to grant a trustworthy person access to your game library. Plus, you too can gain access to the games that person’s Xbox account.

Prerequisites of gamesharing on Xbox One

To gameshare on Xbox, both the giver and taker will need their separate Xbox One systems and accounts. If this requirement is fulfilled, gamesharing becomes easy.

To exchange your game libraries, you will need to repeat the process twice, once to connect your Xbox One to their account and a second time to connect theirs to yours.

Step-by-step guide to gamesharing on Xbox

Follow the following steps to get the gamesharing done.

Select the icon at the top left on the home screen.
Then from the left panel, go to the user account menu.
Click on Add new, and then add both accounts to your Xbox One.
Now make your gameshare partner’s Xbox One your Home Xbox. For that, go to Settings > Personalise > My home Xbox > Make this my home Xbox.
From there, register the system as your default device.
Now, at last, go to your game library by selecting My Games & Apps > See all > Full library > All owned games.
Here you’ll see a list of games accessible to your account, fetched from both your and your partner’s game library.
