The standard messaging system of Apple’s iOS 18 has adopted the Rich Communication Service (RCS), which enhances the messaging experience between iPhone and Android phones. RCS messaging service have a lot to offer as compared to Media Messaging Service (MMS) and Short Message Service (SMS).
The decision of Apple to add RCS was rumoured last year worldwide, especially after the persuasion of Google.

- Tap open the settings on your iPhone, then select the Apps option, which is provided at the bottom of the menu.
- Then, select Messages.
- Tap the option under “Text Messaging,” and choose RCS Messaging.
- Press the toggle switch as when it turns green then the option is enabled and if it was green from the get-go, then it is already on.
