Huawei launched EMUI 15 for global users, alongside the X6 foldable smartphone. The company rolled out the flagship foldable smartphone globally on December 12, sporting various new features, the device has offered consumers with a brand-new operating system, improving their usage experience.

The current version in the EMUI world is EMUI 14.2. Huawei launched this build with the Pura 70 smartphones in April this year. Mate X6 features tipped that EMUI 15.0 will bring some vibes on HarmonyOS NEXT to the table.

However, things will be officially confirmed with a changelog.

EMUI 15 features

With EMUI 15, Huawei Mate X6 users can now access new lock screen themes. Initially, the first one is Emoji Crush. It will add an interactive theme on the lock screen with funny emojis.

Meanwhile, the second is an immersive weather theme, which results in you can witness changing weather on your phone’s screen in real-time while having an appealing look on the lock screen.

Despite the new themes, EMUI 15 makes multitasking simple, letting users run three applications at the same time. The official input suggests the feature will soon be available to more devices via the over-the-air (OTA)update.

Delve into the artificial intelligence (AI) part, EMUI 15 displays AI messaging that hides notifications when the phone detects someone else peeking into your device.
