Huawei is set to launch its GoPaint HarmonyOS NEXT app in the first quarter of 2025. According to the company’s moderator, users will be able to enjoy some more interesting drawing tools and can have an improved experience.
Earlier in May, the GoPaint app was launched to improve the painting experience for users. It arrived with beautiful canvases, various types of brushes, and tutorials that can help a beginner become a Pro in the painting world.
Recently, a netizen asked when the company will launch the GoPaint native HarmonyOS app version. In response, a Huawei moderator in the community stated that the company is working on this process and the results will be out till Q1 2025.
“HarmonyOS NEXT is being improved. After the upgrade, HarmonyOS NEXT does not support Born to Draw. This feature is being urgently adapted. It is expected to be supported in the first quarter of 2025. Please wait patiently for the actual push time. Thank you for your understanding and support.”

However, it is unclear what the new Huawei GoPaint HarmonyOS NEXT app will integrate in Q1 2025 for its users. This upgrade is expected to make the respective application faster, smoother, and more efficient towards relevant tasks.
GoPaint app: Support for more tablets
Recently, Hauwei provided a list of four more models in the GoPaint support. Apart from flagship models, the company has expanded the GoPaint’s compatibility to these devices:
- MatePad Pro 11 2022
- MatePad Pro 10.8 2021
- MatePad 11 2023
- MatePad 11
All these tablets are set to get the GoPaint app with the new HarmonyOS software rollouts.
