Huawei improve Band 8 experience with HarmonyOS 4.2

Huawei developed HarmonyOS 4.2 software update for the Band 8 users. The recent firmware introduced a new notification feature for the wearable and optimised a few health features.

Users are set to receive a more creative experience with the new upgrade. Earlier, Huawei treated the Band 8 users with the HarmonyOS 4.2 stable update. Currently, the OEM (Original equipment manufacturer) is set to include this update to more users with a new version and a few changes.

HarmonyOS 4.2 software upgrade extends for Huawei Band 8 users with the 4.2.0.103 version. Compared to the stable build, the latest build lacks a few features.

Meanwhile, digital car key support for the NFC (Near-field communication) variant and smart connectivity with TVs.

Huawei is expected to integrate these features with the next coming versions of your wearable. The update currently counts a useful reminder feature to exit the sleep mode. It also improves the heart rate measurement for precise reports.

Huawei is set to release the new update progressively to users. HarmonyOS 4.2 is available for Watch Ultimate, Watch 4 Pro and other wearables globally.

Although many tablet and smartwatch users are still looking forward to grabbing this firmware and enjoying a new experience. Huawei has not yet shared significant details on the global HarmonyOS 4.2 launch.
