Huawei has officially launched its flagship Mate 70 series, which includes the Mate 70 Pro+ and Mate 70 RS. Both handsets features several innovative features, enhancing the user experience through improved batteries, premium materials, and upgraded RAM.
Notably, the Mate 70 RS and Mate 70 Pro+ run on HarmonyOS 4.3 and come equipped with Baidu Satellite Connectivity for improved location services.
Huawei Mate 70 Pro+ specs
The Mate 70 Pro+ features a back panel made from a unique blend of gold threads and brocade fibre. It is built with a robust titanium alloy frame, which Huawei purported as high-brightness basalt.
Under the hood, the Mate 70 Pro+ is equipped with the Kirin 9020 chipset and comes with 16GB of RAM as standard, ensuring smooth performance. It also features the Ark Engine for optimised graphics and seamless gameplay.
Coming to the camera, the Mate 70 Pro+ offers a versatile setup including a 50MP RYYB sensor with a 24mm f/1.4-f/4.0 variable aperture lens for exceptional low-light performance.
Moreover, it consists of a 40MP ultrawide sensor with a 13mm f/2.2 aperture, 48MP telephoto lens with 4x zoom and 92.5mm focal length, and 13MP front camera for high-quality selfies and video calls, making it a substantial choice for all the photography enthusiasts.
In terms of battery performance the Mate 70 Pro+ comes with an enlarged 5,700mAh battery. It supports 100W wired charging and 80W wireless threshold, ensuring rapid power replenishment.

The Mate 70 RS boasts a colossal 6.9-inch OLED display with120Hz LTPO refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and a peak brightness of 3,500 nits, making it perfect for outdoor visibility enveloped in a Basalt-tempered Kunlun glass, offering enhanced durability.
Similar to the Pro+ variant, the Mate 70 RS also consists of a 5,700mAh battery and 16GB of RAM. Storage options include 512GB or 1TB of storage configuration, catering to the diverse need of users.

Huawei Mate 70 Pro and Mate 70 RS colours and availability
The Mate 70 Pro+ is available in four tantalising hues including Black, Feather White, Gold and Silver Brocade, and Flying Blue. The Mate 70 RS is available in Red, White, and Black.
Both smartphones are currently available for preorder now, with deliveries that are set to begin on December 19.
