Following its disappearance from the scene for a considerable time, Humane AI has again stepped into the limelight, but not for good this time.
Launched last year by a duo — former Apple designer Imran Chaudhri and former Apple software manager Bethany Bongiorno — that was formerly associated with Apple, the Humane AI was not well received by the target audience.
Due to unfavourable feedback containing everything between bad functionality and overpricing, the Humane AI is reportedly witnessing its doom as its sales were outnumbered by the returns.

According to The Verge, the company since its launch sold around $9 million worth of Humane AI Pins out of which it's dealing with $1 million in returns.
The manufacturer is apparently undergoing a losing phase as it's unable to refurbish the Humane AI pins owing to the technical restrictions with the cellular connectivity.
The wearable was once again dragged into a fiasco because of the Charge Case, which was found to be more likely to catch fire, following which Human AI users were advised by the maker to stop using the Charge Case Accessory.
What may have further discouraged Humane customers is the fact that the affectees were not given repayments for the loss. However, Human offer them two months of the Humane subscription service free of cost.

There's no harm in calling the Humane AI Pin a smartphone without a screen, as instead of asking users to open apps and tap on a keyboard, this little wearable brings everything under the cloak of an AI assistant and an operating system called CosmOS.
