Following a recent hike, Hyundai Nishat has unveiled a new price list for its cars in Pakistan coming as a surprising move.
The South Korea-based car manufacturing company is known for its exceptional services but the recent rise in global freight charges has affected its production expenses and therefore, the company has taken this decision.
The company also stated that after maintaining the same prices for an extended period, they are now compelled to adjust their pricing structure accordingly.

As a result, Hyundai has raised the prices of several car models including Sonata, Elantra, Tucson, and Porter. These revised prices will come into effect next month starting from October 1, 2024.
Following are the new prices for Hyundai cars in Pakistan after the recent hike:
Hyundai Sonata new price
Sonata 2.0: Hyundai Sonata 2.0 in Pakistan was previously priced at Rs9,979,000 while the new price is Rs10,229,000 resulting in a Rs250,000 increase.
Sonata 2.5: The old price was Rs10,930,000, which has now increased by Rs275,000, bringing the new price to Rs11,205,000.
Updated price of Hyundai Elantra
Hyundai Elantra 2.0: It was previously available for Rs6,930,000 in Pakistan. However, it is now priced at Rs7,180,000 following a price increase of Rs250,000.
Hyundai Tucson latest price
Tucson GLS (FWD): The previous price tag for the Hyundai Tucson GLS(FWD) model in Pakistan was Rs7,165,000 while the new price is Rs7,315,000 after an increase of Rs150,000.
Tucson GLS Sport (FWD): The price of Tucson GLS Sport has risen by Rs250,000, bringing the cost from Rs8,030,000 to Rs8,280,000.
Tucson Ultimate (AWD): Previously Tucson Ultimate was available at Rs8,659,000, the new price is Rs8,909,000, following a Rs250,000 hike.
New price of Hyundai Porter
Hyundai Porter is a cabover Pickup truck available in different with and without AC variants. The recent price hike of Hyundai Porter is as follows.
Porter High Deck (with AC): It was previously priced at Rs4,189,000 and is now available at Rs4,389,000, seeing a rise of Rs200,000.
Porter Flat Deck (with AC): Previously it was available at Rs4,169,000, but now costs Rs4,369,000 following a Rs200,000 hike.
Porter Deckless (with AC): Its price has increased from Rs4,149,000 to Rs4,349,000, marking a Rs200,000 rise.
Porter High Deck (without AC): The price has risen from Rs4,079,000 to Rs4,279,000, seeing a Rs200,000 increase.
Porter Flat Deck (without AC): The price has been increased from Rs4,059,000 to Rs4,259,000 after a Rs200,000 hike.
Porter Deckless (without AC): It now costs Rs4,239,000, up from Rs4,039,000, marking a Rs200,000 increase.
