Hyundai Nishat has unveiled its all-new locally assembled 7th generation hybrid sedan — Hyundai Elantra hybrid — in Pakistan’s biggest auto show, PAPS 2024, marking a major milestone for Hyundai and automotive enthusiasts globally.
Hyundai Elantra Hybrid features
The Hyundai Elantra Hybrid is powered by Hyundai’s improved Smartstream 1.6L GDI Atkinson cycle engine. This 4-cylinder engine is paired with a permanent magnet synchronous motor, yielding an impressive 33kW (43 hp) and 170 Nm torque from the motor alone.
The hybrid system is supported by a lithium-ion polymer battery with a 1.32kWh capacity, a reliable electric range for city driving, and a power output of 42kW.
