Earlier this month, Infinix unveiled the 5G variant of Infinix Hot 50. However, now, the company has introduced a more affordable 4G variant with a similar design, but a few different key specifications.
Infinix Hot 50 4G key specifications
The Infinix Hot 50 4G is equipped with the Helio G100 chipset. Notably, the 5G model ships with Dimensity 6300. Apart from the chipset, the Infinix Hot 50 4G features some major upgrades such as the IPS LCD now measures 6.78 inches and has FHD+ resolution, up from 6.7-inch HD+.
Both panels support a refresh rate of 120Hz, integrated with “Always on Display” mode and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

The Infinix Hot 50 4G variant houses a 50MP camera on the rear, with a brighter f/1.6 lens but a smaller 1/2.76 inch sensor, and an 8MP selfie camera. The Inifinix Hot 50 4G variant is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging using the USB-C.
Additionally, Infinix also claimed that users can play FreeFire for around 9 hours on a single charge on the Hot 50 4G. However, the game also supports 90fps mode on the handset with a 120Hz touch sampling rate.
The Infinix Hot 50 4G model comes integrated with basic dust and water resistance, but the company hasn’t revealed a concrete IP rating yet. Notably, the 5G version supported IP54.
Alongside the USB-C, the handset also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack with an FM radio receiver. The 4G model also supports NFC, something which is lacking in the 5G variant.

The Infinix Hot 50 4G comes in various colour variants, including Sleek Black, Sage Green, and Titanium Grey, and is available at a starting price of $165 in several markets worldwide.
