Infinix is gearing up to launch its new Note 40 series, featuring a lineup of four models: the Note 40, Note 40 Pro, Note 40 Pro 5G, and the premium Note 40 Pro Plus 5G.
The highlight of the series, the Note 40 Pro Plus 5G, is rumoured to boast features like MagCharge wireless charging. Meanwhile, the Note 40 Pro 5G variant has recently surfaced on the Google Play Supported devices list.
This upcoming device, identified by model number X6851, is expected to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7020 chipset, coupled with up to 8GB RAM, and will come preloaded with Android 14. The display is set to offer a resolution of 1080 × 2436 pixels, designed with curved edges and a central punch-hole cutout. The right side of the device will house the power and volume buttons.

The same model has also received Indonesia's SDPPI certification and TUV Rheinland certification, which suggests a 4,900mAh battery, likely marketed as 5,000mAh. However, finer details about other specifications are still under wraps.
Infinix plans to unveil the Note 40 series globally on March 18 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Adding to the series, the 4G variant of the Infinix Note 40 Pro, model number X6850, has been spotted in the Play Console database. This version is expected to feature a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, offering up to 8GB of RAM, and will also run Android 14 with Infinix’s custom UI. The device is likely to have an FHD+ display with a pixel density of 480 PPI.
