Instagram and Threads, two popular social media platforms, maybe getting even closer. Some reports have surfaced that a feature would allow the user to share comments on Instagram directly to Threads.
However, if the upgrade is proven to be true, this would mean that your witty remark or thoughtful response on Instagram could reach the community on Threads and evoke new conversations.
Rumours indicate that when commenting on an Instagram post, users would be presented with a dropdown menu that offers them a choice: "Share only on Instagram" or "Also share on Threads."
Such a feature would arrange cross-pollination between the two services and make social media much more connected.

The users can even send messages natively through Instagram since Threads has not created its own Direct Message (DM) feature. The final aim is to connect Threads with the fediverse so that the users could see replies and posts that come from other platforms.
What can users expect?
If the rumours are indeed true, this new feature would open new avenues for engagement as well as the community building and give users a chance to bring their thought processes into action amongst larger populations, thus offering increased numbers of connections and conversations.
