Taking to X, several Instagram users posted: "Instagram stops working," while countless users kept vetting their anger out by sharing screengrabs depicting a pop-up error stating: "Instagram closed because this app has a bug."

On the sidelines of the outage which has crippled the entire app, some users also reported about specific features on the app being inaccessible, with one lamenting: "Instagram music feature down."

As Instagram's service blackout is active and in full swing, the company remains to acknowledge and alleviate it to restore the app's functionality.
