Instagram has introduced a new initiative called Creator Lab in India, aiming to support content creators by providing educational resources.
This programme is an extension of the existing creator education and enablement programme on the platform since 2019. Creator Lab will serve as a new resource specifically designed for aspiring creators.
During the launch event in Mumbai, Meta India Director Paras Sharma said: “On Instagram, we're focused on providing an experience that allows users to connect with others. We take feedback from young people seriously and our newly launched Creator Lab aims to empower creators to express themselves freely and succeed in their unique way.”
