Instagram is on the roll to strike users with a wave of nostalgia, bringing a new feature which lets users mention their favourite songs on their profiles.

Citing an official Meta post on X (formerly Twitter), Android Central reported that the new feature allows users to keep that song in bio for as long as they wish. This means there's no kind of expiration or validity for the music.

While it assimilates with the old MySpace's autoplay feature, the parting of ways comes with the ability for profile visitors to play or pause those soundtracks as they please.

Before this feature came into existence, Instagram users could only personalise their profiles with their name, pronouns, bio, links, and banners, which at even its best could only reflect a dull make profile interface appearance.

The inclusion of a music title will enable users to convey their taste in music while letting them boast their vibrant personalities.

The library offers plenty of artists to choose from, out of which users can pick a specific 30-second clip to add to their profiles.
