To offer users a more seamless experience of direct messages (DMs), Instagram has introduced a new ability enabling users to schedule messages, allowing them to select a specific time for sending messages.

This feature is similar to the existing capability which allows users to schedule posts, reels, and various other kinds of content.

Using Instagram’s schedule message feature, users can send messages to any Instagram contact. Notably, the message is delivered automatically even if the user’s device is offline.

The feature could be great to send birthday wishes or messages of other sorts. Users can schedule a message which will be sent later.
