Internet users across Karachi and several other cities in Pakistan reportedly witnessed severe connectivity issues as sluggish internet issues remain unaddressed.
According to The Express Tribune, internet users because of slow internet speeds were unable to access social media platforms to send multimedia messages including images, videos, and voice notes, on popular applications like WhatsApp.
The purported outage impeded Internet services of both Wi-Fi and mobile broadband, compelling ordinary users as well as digitally-operated businesses to fail to complete daily tasks.
Among the most affected are freelancers, digital marketers, students attending online classes and those working from home.
Complaints about slow internet speeds were lodged from renowned localities of Karachi including areas like Saddar, Liaquatabad, FB Area, and Gulistan-e-Jauhar, where users reported severe prolonged delays in sending and receiving audio, video, and images.
