Adding to the woes of already-annoyed internet users across the country, Karachi and several other cities reportedly underwent an internet slowdown on Sunday.

According to Geo.tv, areas falling prey to the sluggish internet include North Nazimabad, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, and Karsaz, with the general public expressing dissent over the digital deadlock which has been looming over the country for the past few months.

Trying to access commonly used social media and instant messaging platforms, netizen across the country met with disrupted Wi-Fi services.

Within the territory of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), internet users in Peshawar were also reeling from issues with internet like browsing as well as uploading and downloading images, videos, and voice notes.

In Quetta, the capital city of province Balochistan, people reported disrupted WhatsApp services on the sidelines of a widespread internet slowdown gripping the entire city.

Besides making the general public unable to bring about internet-reliant tasks, the purported internet outage proved detrimental to those running online businesses.
