Managing passwords for all your accounts and websites could be challenging; however, with the iOS 18 update, Apple now offers a new dedicated “Passwords” app, allowing iPhone users to organise and manage their passwords in an easier way.
The noteworthy part is that the Passwords app seamlessly integrates with iCloud Keychain, automatically importing all stored passwords.
Now, iPhone users can instantly access their account credentials within the app without setting it up. Moreover, the Passwords app also allows users to share passwords with others by creating shared groups.

Categories in Passwords app in iOS 18
Apple has divided the Passwords app into several categories making it easier for users to access it.
All: The category includes all the saved passwords. Users can see all the details by tapping on any password.
Passkeys: This category features all the passkeys saved to the account. These password replacements allow users to log into a site using their biometrics.
Codes: Under the Codes category, all the accounts having multifactor authentication codes such as MFA or 2FA are set up. When logging into a website, go to this category of the Passwords app to quickly look for the authentication code.
Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi category includes all the passwords for the Wi-Fi networks a user has joined.
Security: The Security category shows password strength and lets users know whether it has been compromised or not.
Deleted: This category includes all passwords that have been deleted.
