Apple is integrating several new features to the iPhone with subsequent iOS updates, including new Apple Intelligence features for compatible models. It is claimed that Apple will release iOS 18.3 soon.

iOS 18.3 release date
Apple’s beta testing schedule for iOS 18.3 is likely to mirror the beta testing process of iOS 17.3 last year. Here are the dates of iOS 17.3’s beta testing cycle.
- Beta 1: December 13, 2023
- Beta 2: January 3, 2024
- Beta 3: January 9, 2024
- Release Candidate (RC): January 17, 2024
- Public release: January 22, 2024
This indicates that Apple will release iOS 18.3 beta 2 as soon as later this week or early next week, followed by just one more beta and the RC.
What’s new in iOS 18.3?
The update focuses on bug fixes and performance advancements and does not include any new Apple Intelligence features.
- Robot vacuum support in the Home app
- Tweaked icon for the Image Playground app
- Bug fixes for the Writing Tools API and Genmoji
- You can now log in to the Feedback app using Face ID or Touch ID
- The icon for the Camera Control menu in the Accessibility page of Settings now supports dark mode
Apple is likely to pick up the pace again with iOS 18.4, including significant new Apple Intelligence features. Notably, iOS 18.4 is rumoured to enter beta testing later this month and be released to everyone in March or April 2025.
