Being released in November 2020 at a starting price of $699, the iPhone 12 mini is now three years old and starting from around $280. Though Apple offers extended support for its devices, the iPhone 12 mini will receive updates for only the next three to four years.
For those considering this phone, it might be wiser to invest in the more expensive but more up-to-date iPhone 13 mini. In the Android market, there are several phones with comparable power, larger screens, and better battery life at similar or lower prices.
The compact size of the iPhone 12 mini may appeal to some users, but its screen might feel too small by today's standards.
While the iPhone 12 mini's A14 Bionic processor is potent and efficient, other phones now offer even more powerful performance at similar price points.
