The impending release of the upcoming has jolting the sphere of top-tier smartphones. As of now, what has added fuel to the already-erupted fire is a recent report suggesting significant enhancements on the iPhone 16 Pro lineup
The report claims that a larger displays and a dedicated Capture button will be featured on the pro models of the iPhone 16 series. In view of a latest rumour, we're expecting the integration of the following changes.
Upgraded camera on iPhone 16 Pro
Both the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will get an upgraded 48MP Ultra Wide camera this year, bringing a scaled-up camera compared to the 12 MP Ultra Wide camera currently offered on the iPhone 15 Pro.
Anti-reflective coating on iPhone 16 Pro models
A predicament which almost every other iPhone user encounters and gets perplexed by is lens flare when shooting in bright lighting environments, leading to unexpected artifacts and lens flare internal reflections appearing on images.

While it’s a hardware-related problem that takes a toll on most cameras on the market, Apple, puportedly, is working on a new “atomic layer deposition” (or ALD) lens coating technology to eradicate this problem it it came on the iPhone 16 Pro.
Expanded optical zoom
Apple currently offers a new tetaprism camera design that unlocks 5x optical zoom and 25x digital zoom capabilities on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. However, with the iPhone 16 lineup, Apple is expected to take the upgraded tetaprism camera to the iPhone 16 Pro, meaning that the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will equally be supporting at least 5x optical zoom and 25x digital zoom.
Upgraded main camera on iPhone 16 Pro models
The upcoming iPhone 16 Pro is also said to feature a new Main camera sensor from Sony, especially redesigned to enhance performance in low-light conditions. According to Sony, this new sensor can capture twice as much light as existing camera sensors, resulting in better overall photo quality for iPhone users.
