A report from 9to5Mac suggested that one of the most significant upgrades of the Cupertino-based tech giant’s first 5G modem, codenamed “Centauri,” would offer enhanced internet speeds and improvised connectivity.
The modem is likely to support different technologies including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS. Previously Apple relied on Qualcomm’s 5G models, but the inclusion of Apple's own 5G modem into iPhone SE 4 change would allegedly surge the price of the iPhones.
