A new leak has hinted at the key specifications of the iPhone SE 4, suggesting the handset will feature an OLED display alongside several other upgraded features.

Apple’s budget-friendly smartphone, the fourth-generation iPhone SE, is expected to launch in the first half of 2025 as an updated version of the iPhone SE (2022).

According to Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to feature a 6.06-inch full-HD+ LTPS OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate, a notch design, and support for Face ID.

The tipster also claimed the handset might be powered by Apple’s A18 Bionic chip, similar to the recently announced iPhone 16.

Regarding camera capabilities, the iPhone SE 4 is rumoured to include a single 48MP rear camera. The device is also expected to feature a metal middle frame, a waterproof design, and Apple’s self-developed baseband, potentially indicating the use of the company’s in-house 5G modem.

Additionally, another Weibo tipster, Smart Pikachu, suggested that the iPhone SE 4 might come with 6GB and 8GB RAM options, an aluminium frame, and a USB Type-C port.

The iPhone SE 4 is anticipated to be priced at under $500. However, in South Korea, the device is expected to cost over KRW 8,00,000.
