Gadgets360, citing Digital Chat Station shared a post on Weibo that a new variant of the iQoo Neo 9 series could be on the horizon, although the specific model name remains unconfirmed. However, another report speculates that it could be the iQoo Neo 9 Racing Edition.
Reportedly, the iQoo Neo 9 Racing Edition is expected to sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 2,160Hz PWM dimming rate. The utilization of 8T LTPO technology is purportedly aimed at reducing power consumption and enhancing battery efficiency.
Moreover, the tipster suggests that the Racing Edition might be powered by a chipset with the codename SM8635 that is said to be the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, which is also anticipated to feature in the Realme GT Neo 6.
