iQoo Z9 5G is scheduled for launch in India on March 12. Before its debut, a tipster leaked specifications for the Chinese variants of both the iQoo Z9 and iQoo Z9x.
The Chinese variant of the iQoo Z9 is reported to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, while the iQoo Z9x is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC. Both models are rumoured to come with 6,000mAh battery.
Tipster Digital Chat Station reported on Weibo that the iQoo Z9 is anticipated to sport a 6.8-inch 1.5K (1,260x2,800 pixels) 2D OLED display and be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. This suggests that the Chinese variant will differ in specifications from its Indian counterpart, which has been confirmed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC.
On the other hand, the iQoo Z9x is expected to feature an LCD panel with full-HD+ resolution and be driven by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC. Both smartphones in the iQoo Z series are rumoured to boast a 6,000mAh battery capacity.
