The iQOO Z9 Turbo "Long Battery Life" version is now confirmed to debut in January 2025, featuring a massive 6,000mAh battery. 

This new version of the iQOO Z9 Turbo will be powered by one of the most powerful chipsets, making it a perfect choice for users who require high performance and battery longevity.

iQOO Z9 Turbo Long Battery Life version launch date and specs 

The company confirmed the "Long Battery Life" version of the iQOO Z9 Turbo in a Weibo post that it will be launched soon with pre-reservations currently available in the country through the Vivo China e-store and other e-commerce sites.

Previously, the iQOO Z9 Turbo came in April 2024 in China alongside the iQOO Z9 and iQOO Z9x models. This upcoming variant with an enhanced battery life will cater to users seeking extended device usability without frequent charging.

An earlier post on Weibo confirmed that the iQOO Z9 Turbo “Long Battery Life" version will be available in a "Flying Blue (translated from Chinese)" hue, and promotional teasers hinted at additional black and white colour options. These choices aim to cater to diverse aesthetic preferences among users.

The iQOO Z9 Turbo "Long Battery Life" version retains many of the standard model's significant features. It features an enlarged 6.78-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with up to a 144Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals and vibrant colours.

The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, which ensures robust performance paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, paired with ample internal storage, allowing seamless multitasking. The device runs on Android 14-based OriginOS 4, offering an intuitive user interface and improved functionality.

In terms of camera capabilities, the device houses a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary sensor, delivering high-resolution images, paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 16-megapixel front-facing sensor, making it a perfect choice for all photography enthusiasts.
